A. can't modify which snap-ins are displayed in the built-in MMC Server Manager console. However, you can use the following steps to create a custom MMC console, add Server Manager, then modify which snap-ins are displayed:
Start the MMC snap-in by clicking Start, Run, then MMC.
From the File menu, select Add or Remote Snap-ins.
Select Server Manager, then click Add, as the following screen shot shows:
Next, select Server Manager in the Selected snap-ins section, then click Edit Extensions.
Select Enable only selected extensions.
Clear the check boxes of the snap-ins you don't want displayed, as the following screen shot shows, then click OK:
Click OK again to finish.
The Server Manager display won't include the snap-ins you cleared. The following screen shot shows that the two snap-ins I cleared in the earlier screen shot—Event Viewer and Reliability and Performance Monitor Extension—are no longer displayed.
