N2U Productions' PE Builder
PE Builder from N2U Productions (Bart Lagerweij)helps you build a Bart Preinstalled Environment (BartPE) bootable Windows CD or DVD from the original Windows XP or Windows Server 2003 installation/setup CD. The software doesn't require Microsoft Windows Preinstallation Environment (WinPE). The software will provide you a complete Win32 environment with network support, a GUI, and FAT/NTFS/CDFS file system support. The PE Builder program runs on Windows 2003/XP/2000 but doesn't support Windows Me/NT/9x systems.
John Allhiser of Kansas City, Missouri, provides high praise for PE Builder. He says, "I have used Bart's boot disks since 1996. Now Bart has created a customizable program similar to the OEM WinPE software that lets you create a custom ISO image with plug-ins.
